Process Overview
Step 1
Introductory Call
The journey begins with an introductory call where our team gets acquainted with your business objectives, challenges, and aspirations. This initial conversation allows us to provide a brief introduction, describe our process, and ask any starter questions that we’ll need to seamlessly move further through the process, including determining if and how we fit as a partner to deliver a viable solution/service to address your needs. Depending on the situation, some standard legal documentation could be exchanged to ensure both parties are able to be open and exchange information freely.
Expected Outcomes: We determine if we are a good fit for one another and – if so, capture the information needed to select the team at Euvic best suited for your project.
Purpose:
Learn as much as possible about your business, business cases, and challenges, and provide a brief introduction to Euvic and what we do.
Expected outcomes:
Understand your business to figure out the questions we will need to ask on further calls
Identify if Euvic is the right fit for your needs
Select the right team that will have expertise in your area and technology
Sign legal documentation (if needed, post-call) to ensure both parties are protected and able to exchange information
Time expectation:
1 call, 30 minutes to 1 hour
Atendees:
Client side:
– Business representative with knowledge of challenges and vision
Euvic:
– Euvic Account Executive
Step 2
Technical Discovery Call
After our team has had some time to analyze your needs and any associated documentation, we’ll bring in some technical experts to gain deeper insights into your requirements, the scope of the project, and to ask questions about your business. For a project with existing infrastructure, systems, and technology stack, we’ll gather additional information that could be necessary to estimate and time-box our proposal. This step may require more than one meeting.
Expected Outcomes: A project proposal or workshop proposal, depending on the complexity of your project.
Purpose:
Perform a deeper dive into your technology and business to either provide estimates, scope, and timeboxing, or understand what we need to do to provide that information.
Expected outcomes:
A project proposal that will accurately provide scope and estimate the time/cost of completing the project OR
A workshop proposal that will identify what is needed to get to the above
Understand the existing or desired technology stack
Refine our understanding of the business case in a technological context
Introduce the team and leadership you’ll have the opportunity to work with
Time expectation:
1 call (2 if complex), 1 hour
Atendees:
Client side:
– Business representative with knowledge of challenges and vision
– Additional relevant stakeholders to the success of the project (technical leads, product owners, key users, etc.)
Euvic:
– Euvic Account Executive
– Euvic Product Solutions Manager
– Euvic Project Manager and/or Managed Team Lead
– Key Technical Leads and Architects
Step 3
(Optional) Workshop Phase
In some cases, the Technical Discovery Call won’t be enough time to gain the insights we need to provide an accurate estimate or proposal. In this case, we’ll recommend a workshop – a fixed length engagement that will allow us to responsibly provide you with options, estimates, and a more detailed scope, and valuable key artifacts depending on your unique situation – such as user designs, architecture diagrams, product backlogs/product roadmap, code audit documentation, and more. If you choose not to proceed with the project, these items alone can serve as the backbone of any decision or solution moving forward.
Expected Outcomes: Accurate estimates and a timeline based on a more detailed scope of work in addition to key artifacts and recommendations that can meaningfully influence your business decision and ultimately the success of your project.
Purpose:
Fully understand the project from a technical, business, and scope perspective, enabling our team to provide you with both estimates and foundational materials for the start of the project, with or without Euvic.
Expected outcomes:
Enable the creation detailed scope, time, cost, and team estimate for a potential future engagement
Provide detailed artifacts that will enable you to have a full understanding of the work to be done, which may include:
– User designs
– Architecture diagrams
– Product Backlogs
– Roadmap and timeline
– Code Audit documentation
– Branding and design audit
– User persona descriptions and pains
– Etc.
Acquire a full understanding of the scope, existing technology stack, and requirements, enabling us to hit the ground running when starting the project
Time expectation:
About 5-10 hours of meeting commitment from clients, over the course of about 1-3 weeks.
Atendees:
Client side:
– Business representative with knowledge of challenges and vision
– Additional relevant stakeholders to the success of the project (technical leads, product owners, key users, etc.)

Step 4

Once we’ve gathered the requirements, scoped out the project, refined your business needs, and estimated project length/work, we’ll provide you with a proposal that fits your needs. This will include pricing estimates, a project timeline, deliverables and key milestones, and team composition/structure. If a workshop was conducted, the outputs of the workshop will serve as key inputs for any project proposal.
Expected Outcomes: A clear proposal with all the necessary technical and commercial components to allow you to make a sound decision on how to proceed with your project.
Purpose:
Provide a detailed description of exactly what the project will entail, how much it will cost, how long it will take, and the team working on the project.
Expected outcomes:
Detailed, accurate project proposal including estimates of cost, scope, timeline, and team composition
