Tell us, who are you and what are your previous experiences?
I am a northerner who has lived in exile in Stockholm for many years.
Professionally, the common thread is leadership, both as a line manager, program and project manager and change manager. I have worked in many different industries (e.g. defense industry, manufacturing industry, management consulting, retail) both in Sweden and internationally.
Why does Euvic feel like the right next step in your career?
Euvic is an exciting company that is in a very exciting phase. Euvic has impressively established itself in the Nordic market. The next phase will be about scaling up in an efficient way, and building more structure to grow in. I think it’s a very exciting challenge and that I have the relevant experience to contribute to that journey.
How do you see your role as Head of Delivery within Euvic, how do you want to contribute?
As Head of Delivery, I will continue to contribute to building a sharp delivery and advisory capability in the Nordic region together with the very competent team already in place. I want to contribute with the experience I have from management consulting and to create structure and build capabilities for a really forward leaning and competent delivery organization.
What do you see as the biggest frustration when it comes to digitalization that many companies are struggling with today?
Two things in particular: one is that virtually all companies know that data and information are one of their most important assets, but many still have a very fuzzy picture of what is actually meant by it, and what it means for companies. The second is that I feel that in very many companies in different industries, there is too little competence in digitization in company management and boards, which contributes to slowing down a development that is necessary for strong competitiveness in the long run.
What does “the good people” mean to you?
This means a culture that is strongly characterized by a desire to do the right thing and support each other in all contexts; together with our customers, together with our colleagues and together with our suppliers and partners.
What do you think defines a proactive partner?
A partner who, with humility and good intentions, strives to be at the forefront and use their skills and experience to see both opportunities and obstacles even before they arise, and thus can help support their partners in taking advantage of opportunities and avoiding obstacles
Finally, if you could choose any person in the world to have dinner with – who would it be and why?
I would love to have dinner with Mats Sundin.
The reason for that is that I am so impressed by this huge superstar, who is not only a great leader and sportsman, but also manages to retain a humility and give such a genuinely sympathetic impression throughout his long career. I can see that there is so much to learn from this!
